On October 19, 2007 the Ministry hosted an event entitled "Blended Coaching for School and System Leaders." Participants at this event included pilot teams from fourteen Ontario school boards that are working with the three Ontario principals' associations, six additional boards that are using a board-led approach and one team from each of the public and Catholic supervisory officer Associations, OPSOA and OCSOA. The keynote speaker, Gary Bloom, addresses the significant challenges faced by new administrators and in this video provides a number of important coaching and mentoring strategies to support their leadership.
